HEY SHAUNA ART THERAPY CONSULTATIONS
I get a LOT of requests from lovely folks at many different stages of their career, private practice & studies… wanting to chat about the logistics of doing this work.
And while I would LOVE to gab about all things art therapy all day long… unfortunately I can’t realistically (or reasonably) do this for free with everyone who reaches out. SO, consultations!
These consultations can include topics like:
- being in (or starting) a private therapy/counselling/coaching practice
- small business supports & systems
- considering art therapy training/schooling
WHAT IT IS (and ISN’T)
I want to be super clear that these are NOT supervision or therapy sessions. What they ARE are an opportunity for you to ask me anything you’d ask on a pick-my-brain-coffee-date …or in a I-just-have-a-few-dozen-questions email …but with reciprocity.
What this translates into is you valuing & respecting my time, training, and experience in a tangible way – and that I’m keen to show up FULLY for you in our session.
HOW IT WORKS
These are super casual meetings. I’m not a business coach. I am a gal that’s been self-employed for over 20 years (web design & art therapy) – and have done plenty of bumbling, trouble-shooting, flailing, wee victory dances, liberation whoops, and full-body cries… because being self-employed is hard. But I also can’t imagine doing it ANY OTHER WAY.
Peer Consultations can be private (1:1) conversations, or for a private group of your choice/gathering.
If you’d like to book a private (1:1) consultation, you can do that either through my online booking calendar (60min – ONLINE Peer Consult), or by contacting me to arrange something by email or telephone.
If you’d like to book a group consultation, please reach out with an email to let me know the size of your group, and any other specifics you’d like to include.
Author Ursula Le Guin describes our imaginations as the single most useful tool that we possess – a tool that we have to learn how to use, “to invent our lives, make them up, imagine them” – that the learning, teaching, and exercising of our imaginations is something foundational to our basic life skills “for growth, for health, for competence, for joy”.
